"Those Who Look Down on Themselves Never Go Up" ... Bishop Oyedepo

Last Sunday at Faith Tabernacle, headquarters of the Living Faith Church (LFC), the President and founder, Bishop David Oyedepo, recounted how the church, also known as Winners’ Chapel has enjoyed
the supernatural provisions of God for the past 34 years.

“For the past 34 years, this church has never known a down time. Joy unspeakable has been our story,” he said, during the 3rd service.
“For the past 34 years, this church has enjoyed peace; we’ve never had a crisis to manage. Why? Because the Prince of Peace is seated with His people,” the Bishop continues.
“For the past 34 years, we have never lacked or begged and there’s no human face behind the resources at work here. We’ve never had a better last year, because the path of the just is as a shining light that shines more and more unto the perfect day. For the past 34 years, we have had battles but we’ve won all the battles without sweat. Suddenly without sweat, we got 1000 acres in one country, and 300 acres in another country.”
In a sermon titled: “What Heaven Looks Like,” Bishop Oyedepo also admonished members of the congregation never to look down on themselves as it was the cheapest way to lose out in destiny:
“Don’t look down on yourself, because the cheapest way to lose your inheritance is to look down on yourself. Those who look down on themselves never go up. You look down on yourself, you go down; you look up to God who made you, you go up. God anoints the most unlikely person to reign.”
